Okay, Michele31...I am ready to make my prediction...

You know I am not a 'math-minded' person, but I am going to use a particular pattern that has recently developed with all of my family/friends who have recently had babies...

Here goes:
Our friends from Rome, NY - had a in August 2003;
Our friends from Glen Head had a in September 2003;
Our friends from MD had a today;
My cousin Lori will likely give birth to her sometime within the next two weeks...

So, that leaves YOU and Scott...and I'm predicting (by the pattern above) that you will give birth to a on November 22nd (hey, at least it's a week early)

I'm feeling a boy for Michele and a girl for JennRenee. I was wrong about jenny11.9 though, I was thinking boy for her.

ETA: Oops I hit 'post' before I was done. I was going to say. Since I'm a contraindicator, Michele is probably actuall having a girl and JennRenee a boy.

Michele for sure girl, always has been in my mind! Jenn I was sure a girl and yet in the past few days...I have been thinking boy for her...dont' know why jenn. But I am going to stick with my original bet on you for the long haul and trust my original instincts

- a few weeks ago I think Sue started a 'prediction post' for Michele, Jenn and Christine...- I actually tallied up what everybody guessed and posted it on the Expecting Board.

Claud- I need a weight...you and Scott's Mom have chosen the same date which happens to be my mother's birthday, my grandparent's anniversary and the day JFK was shot...

So you will go down in the baby with a , along with the other 5 people (including a 4 year old) who have picked

I still think girl for Michele and boy for me, although I have a gut feeling that I'm going to end up induced after my due date.

Jenn- I pray that neither of us is induced but a few people have predicted December for me...I mean, what did I ever do to them to deserve a week late?

If you are induced I learned in one of my classes that you can tell the doctors that you want the PIT stopped once the labor has begun and is steady. Sometimes they keep it coming and that can be more difficult for you. Just look into your options. Also, make sure you eat your eggplant parma around your due date

I've already discussed stopping the pit with my dr, and he's fine with it, thank goodness. He's not a big believer in induction, and I had to BEG him to induce me at the 1 week late mark and not wait 2 weeks.

We've been talking about induction a lot lately because this baby is growing by leaps and bounds, and I'm concerned that it's getting too big. My dr. will not even consider inducing unless I am past my due date OR I am at least 3 cm dialated. I didn't have an internal this week as I had suspected, but I know I'm definitely having one next week, so I'll see how everything is going then.

Jenn, try not to worry. Easier said than done but TRY... But I was the same way, I was told the baby would be at least 8 1/2 - 9 lbs and I was SURE with each day over due he would get too big to deliver v aginally. I was at my OBs office 1 year ago yesterday practically begging him for an induction date. He's not big on it either and I was supposed to go back to on the following Monday to be sure the placenta was still OK and all...I went into labor on Sunday night. Luke was born in the AM on Monday. It will all work out fine, the waiting and not knowing how and when is the hardest part IMO.

Jenn- that is SOOOO great about stopping the PIT. A lot of doctors do not discuss that with patients.

You can ask for another sonogram to get an estimate fetal weight. Maybe that will help you feel better.

Michele, I have a sono every week. Thursday's est.weight was 6.5 lbs. The baby appears to be gaining a pound/week, and I still have 3.5 weeks to go!!!

Also you wont have a problem with the name since it seems you already have one picked out
