I want my MOH to stand out...would it be better if she had a different dress than the BMs (but the same color and fabric) or the same dress, but with unique accessories?
Depends how much you want her to stand out. A different dress in the same color and fabric is more dramatic and obvious than just different accessories. It's up to you entirely. My MOH is wearing the same skirt as the rest of the girls but with a different top. She will also have a slightly different bouquet and different jewelry.
I told my sister she could pick a different dress than the BM, but she didn't want to stand out too much, so he bo-k will be different. The BM will carry all ivory and she will have ivory and burgundy to match my all burgundy bo-k.

My sister is my MOH and she is in a completely different dress (burgundy) than my jr.bm who is 10 and in rose. I wanted them each to pick out what they liked since my sisiter is 33. I personally like the idea of a MOH in something different, either different dress or color.
my MOH is wearing a different dress in the same color. not b/c she wants too, i couldn't decide btwn 2 dresses so i told her to pick one and that is the one she is wearing, lol.

I am going to have my MOH in the same dress but different sleeve. The girls are in strapless and she will have a cap sleeve on the same dress, Also her color is a little darker blue the the other girls. I was going to have a different dress then the one that I finally choose and changed my mind, but that one had a bustle. I was going to make her bustle the traditional kind and the other girls a French one. Also she has different flowers then the other girls. Hope I helped!

For my friends wedding i had the same dress but slightly different flowers!
For my wedding, my MOH wore the same dress but in a different color. My girls wore Peri, and she wore Bananna. It looked awsome, she also had a slightly different boquet and jewlery. I also had her wear a small jewled headband.
My MOH wore a small tiara and had a different bouquet. Let me see if I can find a picture...
