okay, pre-cana hasn't started off so welll
Alright, can I just tell you all how much I wanted to kill FH yesterday. Since we live in VA we wanted to do pre-cana in our Church down here and have been 'priest shopping' for a couple of months at our Church to figure out who we want and last Sunday, during his homiily, we were sold that we wanted him to definitely help us through the process (directly from Ireland, with the accent and the humor to boot). So, after a lot of phone tag, I finally got a hold of him yesterday and I say 'Hi Father, its Danielle' and he's like, 'Oh Danielle! Hello! How are the twins?' And so I'm playing along thinking he's talking about how long it's taken us to connect saying that they are speaking their first words, etc. We're laughing, hahahahaha and then we set up the meeting, etc.. So, I tell my FH about our conversation and he's like, OMG, Dani, call him back and make sure he knows its you and not someone else. So I call him back (of course blaming my FH) and say, 'I'm so sorry to do this, but Jim wanted me to call to make sure you knew we actually didn't have twins.' And he just cracks up saying that 'Oh, you should've let this one go. I was so embarressed because I thought you were a different Danielle and then realized that you weren't and thought it was great that you were just playing along.' I was laughing so hard and knew that I would ace any question he asked, but now my FH has a reputation already. ![]()
