Okay, so Finally done with the photographer,still no video, but want to move onto DJ's, Any IDEAS PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I have no idea where to begin, I was told Starlight Express, (but heard the were a bit $$), Body Rock, Two of my friends used Heart to Heart (not sure if I'm really spelling it right), I keep hearing of Tommy Tunes on the boards. But I don't know what to do. I don't want to spend $3,000 on a DJ! The funds are starting to run low already!

Please Help!!!!! Thanks!!!!

He is doing my ceremony through reception for $800.
This includes only him and no lights, giveaways etc.
He does have other packages but I believe even his most elaborate (including everything) is less than 2K.

He was the first vendor I booked because of his impecable reviews on this site and how he listened to what I wanted. So many other companies tried to tell me what I should have.

try In The Mixx, they are so great and we are paying about $2000, included are dj, mc, small lighting package, crate of giveaways, ceremony and cocktail music, 6 dozen lighted roses for the 'rose dance' and i'm not sure if there is anything else i would have to check my contract, but i do know they are an awesome dj, good luck!!!!

Thank you girls so much! I'm going to start making some appts. FI, dosnt want to be bothered with all this 'nonsense' as he puts it, He just keeps telling me to pick what I want...'it's fine' UGH!!!!!!! Then I'll probably pick it and he'll have a problem with it!! THANKS!!!!!!!!

I am telling you right now, that HIGH ENERGY ENTERTAINMENT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Ralph and Kenny, were so easy going.. And they had everyone dancing the whole time.. They played a great variety of music.. And they were very reasonably priced

Try Tom Gordon of Tom Gordon Entertainment. He was just less than $2000 and comes with an MC, a DJ and a singer during dinner.

I have to agree they have done all out friends weddings and they are doing ours and they are great. And very affordable.

Starlight Express was kind of expensive but not that much more than the quotes we got from Body Rock and In the Mix. For the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, they're $1795 for the DJ&MC (we're not doing a light show or giveaways). Good luck!
