Okay so my dress came in & I want to visit it...............
What happens??? I just get to try it on & take pictures??? Is there anything else that I have to do that day? I want to add a french bustle to my dress.. Should I tell them then or during my 1st fitting?

honestly... you have sooooooo much time! I would wait until your first fitting to do the bustle and everything. Generally, your first fitting should be about 5 or 6 weeks before your wedding.

I know its too early for my 1st fitting. I was just wondering if I should just wait until then to tell them about the bustle.

yes.... they will pin the bustle at the first fitting after the hem is pinned. At least that's what I was told.

When I went to visit my dress, I just tried it on and tookd pics w/ my MOH. They left me alone w/ it. When I was done, they told me to call back in Feb to schedule fittings in April. I suppose you could tell them about the bustle now, but not sure if they will jot it down or just tell you to mention it when you are in for the first fitting.

When I first visited my dress I just went to make sure they got the right one. I tried it on and took pictures. We didn't discuss any alterations at all since there is still so much time.
