no we dont want to go back to work.. but dont u get a little rush when u go into staples and see all of those school supplies? how bout when u go int LL weans or the educational warehouse.. u get a little pysched.. dont cha? dont cha? come on.. admit it..
i went into staples today nad got some folders, a couple of notebooks som cool post it notes and an organizer..
gonna go on line and buy some more teacher paraphernalia.. i think this year i want a teacher tote bag.. lol. something with apples on it..

when i was a teacher, i loved going back i like getting into my usual routine and i always felt like without endless funds in my bank account, what can i do for 2 months
i just started vac. this week so i want to enjoy my 2 little weeks i get excited when i see school supplies and start using new notebooks ITS FUN!!

i was too last year.. but it gets soo out of hand.. im not buying anything unless its a necessity.. esp working in NYC.. i bought sooo much stuff and so much for my kids.. im not doing that again this year.. i need to think of the house fund haha

i used to buy SOO much stuff.. but here's a hint for the new teachers and newer teachers.. get one of those cardboard storage compartments.. and take GOOD care of ur things.. store them from year to year.. and if u're a hofstra grad u prob already know u can go to their teachers livrary and laminate for free..
laminate EVERTHING!! and at the end of the year or when u take it off the walls, take the time to put it away properly.. it'll last!! the only thing i buy from year to year are new borders.. and this year i'm skipping on thise too!!

This will be my second year teaching, and since last year was very hectic because I got hired the day before school started, I'm trying to get super organized and have everything ready. Already went to Lakeshore, Staples and The Learning Wheel near me in Brooklyn. I'm excited to start a new year but would also love to just stay home and wedding plan all day! :)
