haha i'm sooo the opposite of everyone here.... i'm going to be with those 'slimy' babies everyday as a labor and delivery nurse !!!!

its funny bc i didnt realize that people are so grossed out about this but i always watched the show Birth Day on discovery health, and its live births, i always watch all these type of shows on those channels that have the same topic. When others saw me watching the show they would get so grossed out and i was like 'really? its a natural thing, what did you think a baby looked like when it was born' but it is funny to see how people react dh was really shocked when he first saw it, i think he didnt realize what babies look like as soon as they are born.

I LOVE those shows too. For educational purposes it's one thing. But if a coworker comes over and is like 'hey look at this' it's really unexpected. Much like it being the first thing you see in a baby album.

yeah it doesnt bother me at all hahaha but i do agree that maybe they shouldn't go around showing the pics to just anybody bc there are people who really don't care to see it.

let me tell you ladies...when you see how amazing a real live birth is you have a new respect and no longer think of those babies as anything but beautiful little newborns !!!!

but yet i still can't talk about my day with FH... anything medical grosses him out ...hahah ...i never get to bring school/work home !!!

how inappropriate to show to other people!!!!!!!!!!
If that was my child i probably wouldn't want a second look at that!!!!!

I've got a good one too.....a friend of ours sent pics through snapfish of his baby's birth and we were watching the slide show, and the pics were nice and innocent until....the picture of the PLACENTA in a dish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i still cant believe they sent that out to everyone they know in a slideshow!
