Ladies..i really must be fooling myself that by October 1st i can lose 20-25 lbs to fit into my bridal gown. *sigh* Iam a big stress eater and when i feel overwhelmed i just want my Ben & Jerry's or my chocolate!!
I really want to lose this weight and wish that i had taken it more seriously before i got engaged. Iam realizing is the hardest thing to do under stress. Any tips pointers...please i need encouragement! (Iam tthinking of restricting myself to soup in the evenings and my heavier meal in the afternoon)

You know, I thought I was going to have to lose a crazy amount of weight to fit into my dress as well, but when it came down to my last fitting, I was fine. Im a stress/boredom eater, but I curbed it once I realized I was doing it for a good reason. It will work out.

Try weight watchers, I lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks, its so easy and your eating regular food, not those processed foods like nutrisystem. Walk 3 times a week in a near by park or around your neighborhood. Trust me you can do it.

Are you able to control yourself if you just have a little bit? What about allowing yourself 2 hershey kisses? That way you can get your chocolate fix. Keep as much fruit and veggies in the house as possible and reach for those for snacks. Cut up an apple and dip it in peanut butter. I know it's not the same thing, but it definitely helps.

This is what works for me....chicken or fish & lots of vegetables! I can eat this every day & never get sick of it. For breakfast I drink THIS PROTEIN SHAKE a sensible lunch, usually a salad with grilled chicken, or plain salad, or veggies, then chicken or fish with vegetables for dinner. I also like smart ones & lean cuisines, but they tend to be high in sodium, so u have to eat them in moderation.
You have to lower your caloric intake to 1200-1500 calories per day, and lay off the sweets, & eat only good carbs i.e. fruit and vegetables. Minimal carbs helps also, eat brown rice, & eat steel oats....not the instant oatmeal with all the sugar in it, but steel oats. Also, drink only water. It ***** in the beginning, but after about a week u dont even miss the juice & soda.
I would recommend staying away from diets as it is only a quick fix. You have to have a lifestyle change. Changing your eating will do wonders for you. Exercise will help you as well.
