Okay....I'm stressed

I know it's just the jitters but here is what I am stressing and obsessing over:

Where am I staying the night before? Is it okay to stay at the same hotel as FH? Neither one of us can stay at home because we live in Suffolk and getting married in Bklyn AND it's a day wedding with a ceremony starting at 9:45am!!!!

Who will do my hair and make-up?

Should we upgrade the room on our HM? My job is basically paying for it and it's only for the least expensive room. My brother went to the same resort and said that the room we're staying in, basically has no view of anything. Anyone know how much an upgrade usually runs per night?

When is the list going to finally come together? I feel like it is out of control and we have no handle on it. We're going to sit down Sunday night and reallllly put one together but I stress over the whole invites, then calligrapher thing. I just wish it can all be done in the same place. Anyone lucky enough to have this?

I always wanted my wedding to be a night wedding and the only reason we decided to do it in the day was so our OOT guests wouldn't be obligated to stay in a hotel and can just drive home while it's still daylight. The other reason was so that the party didn't have to end when the wedding did. We can go to the hotel and continue it. But now, as it gets closer, I feel like I've made it convienient for everyone but me!

dont worry you have plenty of time to figure all this out. As far as invites go, some companies also do the addresses for you and will even stamp them for you too. You'll find hair and make up and fix all the small things. Hey i didnt even have a place to stay after the wedding until this past weekend, fh finally booked a hotel for night of lol and my wedding is in 16 days hahaha. Not to mention i still dont have a few important things. You'll be fine. Just sit down with fh to go over some things such as where to stay the night before

as far as room upgrade it really depends on which hotel it is. Most are a few extra hundred per night to upgrade but depends. Go to the site of the hotel you are staying at and look at the rate difference between standard room and the other rooms

Its perfectly fine to stay in the same hotel as FH. We are actually staying in the same room the night before

Do you have a hair and/or makeup artist? There are a lot that advertise on this site and they can come to the hotel early in the morning to do your hair and makeup.

Dont know how much an upgrade runs, but when you check in, tell them its your honeymoon; sometimes they will upgrade you. If not, think about how much time you will really spend in the room and if its worth the extra $$

The list will never come together. You can get a handle on it, but its a moving target and will change up until the day you get married. I am getting married on Sunday and my list changed again today. I got my invites from LI Wedding Boutique...they are a vendor on this site, and they also do calligraphy. I'm sure most of them do.
