Ok...I've done some research...thinking about getting...

either a total mutt, a pug mix, or a boston terrier (mix maybe) from some sort of adoption agency!

I like the fact that BT are gentle and great with kids and may or may not bark!

Awesome decision! There must be some rescue groups for the Boston's - check around. I got my Charlie from the North Shore Animal League, and although I have heard horror stories since I've gotten him, I've had excellent luck and Charlie will be 13 in October!

Mutts make great pets. Look at the local pound. YOu will be saving a life!!

definitely a mutt. I got zoe at north shore also, we have definitely been blessed with her.

My family dog is from north shore 14 years old. She is amazing. But my aunt got some bad dogs from there. It is very hit and miss. Research your breeds and spend a lot of time with the dog. My vet said that a client of hers got a 'boxer mix' from there and when they brought it to her it was NASTY pittbull..EEK..

But like I said.. My mom's dog LUCKY is the best dog in the entire world.
