NO WAY!!!! If we had that kind of money my FMIL would invite EVERYONE she knows...right now it's just half (yes she wanted to invite her hair person and accupunturist!!)

me too. mine is not that much -- but not that far off

same here we are def. not that far away and I don't feel bad about it or like a schmuck at all. everyones wedding is different and special in their own ways. it doesn't mean anything the amount you spend as long as you are happy that i all that matters
