If you do not have a time period of the average woman it will calculate your ovulation period incorrectly. Maybe you should get an OPK

The OPK. How do you you it? When do you test?

You cannot go by the estimators really since they are based on a text book women and all of our bodies work differently.
I highly suggest you read Taking Control of Your Fertility. You will learn SOOO much about how your body works.

I say you just enjoy the time with your hubby and don't worry about ttc and it will happen.
If you are over-anxious it may effect your chances.

Sue, I have never used an OPK but I am sure if you go on baby center it will explain. I am currently reading TCOYF and it is amamzing how our bodies work. I am reading it, if for nothing else to learn about me. To think all those times I was ovulating I thought I had an infection

I highly suggest you visit the TTC boards of babycenter you will learn so much. The kits that I have seen in the store run from $19 and up. I am sure they come even cheaper.

I know how you feel -- I just got AF also -- I thought it would be easier than this -- we were so lucky the first time -- did not even try !! My cycle is like 40 days long -- I have no idea when my best days are.. I may have to try one of those tests also ... baby dust to all !!!

Suzanne every one ovulates at diff times

Get the OPK (clearblue) if you want to buy one..It give you your 5 most fertile days You pee (excuse me) on the test stick & insert it intot he monitor that reads & detects your LH Surge

Re: OK,so Im not pregnant yet

I agree with Jennbaby- we're using the Clearblue easy OPK. It was expensive but worth the peace of mind. My cycles have never been regular so it has helped me pinpoint when I'm most likely to conceive. We're in the middle of the 2nd month using it- it looks like we'll be extra busy this weekend!

Shamma,

To think all those times I was ovulating I thought I had an infection

You and me both!! I was so angry that no one had explained this to me as a teenager. TCOYF should be required reading for young women.
