ok...SO WE MET WITH THE PRIEST.....
We explained how we wanted an interfaith ceremony, with Rabbi and Priest present...in the church that I grew up in....
HE was actually Ok with it, but still needs to let us know tomorrow if the date is available....
He said we have to find the Rabbi who will do it, but he has no objections to who it is...we did ask the 'donation' amount, and since we are considered outside the parish, sincve we live in RI, its $500...if you are inside the parish I have no idea how much it is....
But, as always, he did encourage us to raise our children catholic in the catholic faith...etc...etc...etc...
But it is Doable and thats what we were hoping for...this week is the battle to fidn a Rabbi who has no problem performing in a Church....ANY REFERERENCES??!?!?!??!?!??!?!![]()
