OK......so we ordered LONG stem tulips and 12' tulips came in today
Any ideas on how I can make this work? My vases are 24' trumpets........ They sent me the wrong length and I phoned them and only got a voice mail.................
Any ideas on what I can do to make the flowers look OK?????????? UGH!

Yah, I was thinking of that, but not sure what to use........maybe rocks, but i'm worried the tulips will fall out

I agree and think this would work. Try to incorporate the tulip colors or use crumpled celophane in the water below the tulips to make it look like ice.

That is a GREAT idea!!!! I never even thought of that! I'll have to try a trial run and see........UGH! Can it get any worse

try the rocks on the bottom. Also if you stick enough tulips into the vase, they should be snug enough not to fall out.

maybe colored sand?? it might serve to give the tulips stability while raising them higher??

What if you put those clear crystal rocks or colored ones to match your flowers? (like the ones they put in the bottom of fish bowls) I am sure if ya put enough of them in the tulips will sit higher.... good luck!!

you can get those colored glass looking beads at Micahels or AC more to match the color of the tulips

Are your vases clear glass? If not, you can put that floral foam in the bottom to boost the tulips.
