How do you go about getting a hair and makeup trial?? do you just call and set up an appointment?

first time looking.
I sent an email first to see if she had my date available. when she emailed me back stating she was available I called for a trial the next morning.

Like for you hair the day of the wedding.....they dont charge you for that trial do they???

most vendors do but the fees vary .
the only one I have seen that i think does not charge a fee is maureen pedala.

I think u just call and ask if they are available on your date...same as other vendors??? and ask if there is a fee and such for the trial.
a lot of the make-up/hair websites will say if there is a fee and all that info.
i havent gotten to this part of planning yet...so let us know how it goes!

I would think you just call and see if they are available. I know there are hair and makeup vendors that work specifically for weddings, but I don't see why you can't go with someone from your own salon if you are happy with them.

I would just call around. If there is someone specific that you want, call. If you don't know who you want, the first place I would start would be the salon you go to regularly... they might even be able to recommend a make-up person.

for my sisters wedding.. she had a trial.. but we all went to our regular salon.. and had the whole place to ourselves..
for my wedding.. i want to have someone come to the house.. just because of the potential august heat.. lol
