Its extra $$. We didn't get it because we figured the walk from the parking lot to the hall is very short and mostly men would be dropping off their ladies at the front and then going to park.

I didn't even ask about it when we booked but they ended up throwing it in for free. I would think as long as you have decent number of people coming they'll do it.

I don't remember, sorry As soon as he said it was extra we dismissed it as a necessity.
I guess because we're only expecting like 110 or less we don't get it for free.

I hope my mom likes the place, she is in charge of the budget!
I heard that if you do a clambake its cheaper (one of you awesome LIW brides told me that) so we may do that.
How are you guys liking OFC so far?

I LOVE OFC so far! I'm sure you will love it!! FH and I are actually going this weekend again to discuss some things with Tom and then *maybe* booking!!

i was at a wedding there this past weekend and no valet.....to be honest i don't think its necessary its such a short walk from the parking lot

I just got married there on July 12 and had never even thought to ask about it, we figured that because the parking lot is right there it wasn't necessary. But on the day of, we had it - totally surprised us! I'm sure it was probably built into the per head cost and if we'd asked about it and opted out of it, maybe the per head price would have been cheaper but it was still fine. BTW, we had 78 guests.
And I have to add that the OFC was PERFECT! The food was delicious, everyone raved about it. The servers were so on top of things, it was great. And Tom was excellent, he was right there all night making sure things were going smoothly and as planned. He can be a little abrupt in meetings but on the day of he is absolutely fantastic. I have to say that the Old Field Club totally exceeded my expectations, everything was absolutely perfect.
I will be posting a review eventually, still waiting on my professional pics, but in the meantime if any of you OFC or prospective OFC brides have any questions, ask away!

Ditto, for the couple of hundred extra dollars it didn't make sense for the 20ft walk. LOL. They have to walk further to the bathroom, hahaha.

I love the OFC! I have been to a few weddings there and the service is excellent and so is the food I didn't know they had valet service at the first wedding I went to b/c we parked near the tennis courts and I had to walk through the gravel in heels. It was so hard! Sounds silly, I know, but it took me forever, I kept stumbling. Then the next time I was there, they had the valets and I was super relieved! Just something to keep in mind, if it's not too expensive for the addition HTH!! Lucy

YAY! I am so happy to hear you loved the OFC ... I am getting married there next October. I absolutely love the place. Tom can be very all over the place I agree. I am happy that you said he was calm and excellent on the day of!!! Where was your table set up? I can't wait to see your review!!! Thanks!

Talk to Tom.. You can have the valet included if you tell them about the inconvience of walking through gravel!
