Old Field Club - Have no way to know if it's flooded!!!!

I've been trying to call them all morning to see if they have any damage or flooding, no one is answering!!!

Does anyone have Matt or Mary's cell phone numbers???

I'm trying to get my mom to drive down there to check it out to make sure it's not too bad...this is on the Old Field Village web site and it's freaking me out!!!

Due to lingering affects of Hurricane Irene, power remains out throughout the Village of Old Field. LIPA has no estimate of repair at this point - in fact, some officials are saying power may be out for as long as a week.

I know my parents in Northport have no power still, and haven't even seen a LIPA truck yet

Hope everything works out!!!! I think hopefully even if there was some flooding everything will be cleaned up in time for your day!

Can't help with the phone# but on the lipa site it says 90% of the power will be back up by friday. My guess is that they are busy repairing any damages but Im sure someone from old field will call you soon to tell you whats going on. I work in stonybrook not far from old field and there is some areas without power but I have not heard much about flooding, sorry you are going through this.

I'm so sorry about the stress that this is causing you! I work in Smithtown, on 25, and we still don't have power. They have no idea when we'll be online again. I hope everything works out for you!

I'm sure any flooding will be cleared up by or before Friday. don't panic! you are going to have a beautiful wedding and I really think you will hear back from Old Field very soon,,,they are a reputable hall. It will work out!!

dont panic!

it is in the best interest of the OFC to get things fixed and ready to go by this weekend, it is a busy weekend and i am sure they are filled with weddings.

my halls outdoor area was destroyed but they are fixing it as we speak according to the staff there
im sure your hall is doing the same
the water in front of my hall was knee deep and it is all gone now

just breathe, take it one step at a time, im sure someone will be calling you soon! i hope you find the number to one of your BMs in the mean time

oh and also, the news said businesses will get their power back first before residents to that is on your side too!

My mom drove out to OFC and spoke to Matt, the catering manager. Apparently they had over a foot of water flooded inside the entire place. They are replacing the carpeting in the hallway and by the bathroom, the carpeting in the cocktail area is fine and drying out. My mom said all the roads are flooded on the way and the ceremony area has a bunch of pools of water but they are pumping the water out.

She spoke to the catering manger and he said we will be fine and they are hoping that the electricity comes back up but if it doesn't they can still make the food and use a generator for the band....I'm just hoping the we can still have our ceremony outside and the grass dries out!!!

At least I can breathe now and hope that it will all go well!!
