Old, New, Borrowed, Blue ?

Just curious what everyone is using for their 'Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.'



My Dress, Veil, Etc... (all New)
Aquamarine studs fh gave me a few years ago (blue)
Old? need ideas
Borrowed? need ideas

can you double up lol? can the earrings be my old and blue?

Old- Not sure
New- Dress
Borrowed- Jewelery & Veil
Blue- Not sure... probably underwear/ garter


I dont think there's anything wrong with doubling up... but that just me other people may be a lil more specific.

new = dress
old = grandmas wedding band
borrowed = card box
blue = garter

does it all have to be something you wear?

Old- i have to get on that one
New- Dress, headpiece, veil
Borrowed- sister's handbag
Blue- garter belt

rather the old is my grandmother's cake cutter. she passed a few years ago so I thought it would be nice to use. Does that count as old?

new - dress and all the stuff with it

old - mom sewed my baby bracelet onto my keepsake garter...( i am not doing the toss)

borrowed- wearing my grandmothers cross

blue-had a personalized tag made to sew into my dress (underneath) in blue that reads
Mrs. Jennifer Cassidy (new name)

New: dress, shoes, DOJ
Borrowed: veil
Blue: A belly button ring that i bought about 3 years ago that I've never used

Something new: My dress

Something borrowed: my best friend's waterford cake cutter and serving set

Something Blue: My shoes (when I get them)

Old: Still trying to figure this one out, I want my watch and I'm fighting for it, but everyone, including FH, is yelling at me no.

New: dress, veil, headpiece, etc.

Borrowed: Nana's snowflake necklace

Blue: Islanders garter lol

I figure why buy wedding undies?? My undies are the hanky pankies and FH loves them! Plus I just bought a bunch so by next year they will be 'something old'...sounds a bit unsexy though when you refer to your undies as old...
