old photo reprinting...

Any suggestions on where I can get good copies made of my grandparents wedding photos... there are no negatives but the photos themselves are decent (1940s).

I live in Nassau but work in Suffolk but will really travel anywhere for someone reliable.

TIA!

I saw something about it in CVS - but never had it done.

this is what i did.....take your digital camera and take a photo of it!

you need to play around a bit with angles and lighting...but after a few shots, im sure you will get something fine.

its really easy to do, and you dont need to worry about damaging the old one

Try Walmart! A few years ago, I took DH's favorite picture of him and his mother when he was little and retouched it and reprinted it into a 4x6 because it was much smaller and in bad condition, and she had passed away years ago. It came out pretty good!

CVS, Walgreens, they all can do that. OR do you or someone you know hace a scanner? You can scan it then order through snapfish or something!

wal mart!!!!! They do a great job. I had it done a while back and it came out awesome. It was pretty cheap too and all they needed was the pic!!

I scanned the old photos of our grandparents and then had them printed from Shutterfly and CVS
