Has anyone ever been? I was told its a good locale for a shower. Give me details girls, I know nothing about it!

we go there ALL the time for dinner.
I've had my birthdays there and stuff.
We're having our RD there also.
the FOOD IS AWESOME!!!
and the appetizer with bread and cheese is sooo yummy!!!

it's also not that bad in pricing... their steaks are good, chicken is good, burgers are the bomb.. lol you really can't go wrong. i love it there!!

I went last year and remember liking the food, especially the bread & cheese appetizer mentioned above!!!
I believe you walk in and there's a bar on the right and a nice separate room on the right...

Yea there's the bar on your right when you walk in, you walk along it to get to the dining room, but then there's a back room that we've had my lil birthday dinners in...

I was just there yesterday!! Well, I obviously love it there but I do have 2 complaints. First of all, it is a little too dark in there for my taste. I don't mind while dining, but for a shower it may be a little annoying. And last, I feel like the service is very slow. The service is not bad, everyone there is very nice, but I feel that they are not attentive enough, and not around when needed. Yesterday my waitress never came back so we just handed our payment to the hostess.

Yes, the backroom is seperate.. It has doors that slide and it's private.. It's really nice.. It reminds me of like an old romantic fireplace setting.. but I don't think there's a fireplace.. It just gives off that feeling.. You have to check to see if it's big enough. I know for my group it was big enough, but we didn't have a lot of people either.

lol...it really is great...in fact I think that is where FH and I are going to dinner tomorrow night for my birthday...it is actually on monday, but dinner on saturday...our fave place...EVERYTHING is delicious

All I have to say is they server Fried Rye Bread and Cheese spread and it is the most delious thing I have ever eaten.
I love Old Street. We had my sister's baby shower there and my cousins communion party in addition to a million dinners.
the food and service is good, pricing is good and the private room is not nearly as dark as the dining room!
