FH and i have decided that we will take our pics there. its pretty much a contingency plan for us if it rains but i want to go even if its beautiful out. We were thinking about going at abt 2 pm ( you get an hour and a half to take pics) since we cant be at the RH until 4 (an hour b4 the ceremony starts) which gives us plenty of time to take pics and a half hour for travelbetween OWG and CLM..

We were going to take pics there, but you need to make reservations and its not cheap, depending on the time you go. It was more of a hassel than anything, so we decided against it.

You need to get a permit to be on the grounds and take pics there!

I wanted to take pics there to but the problem is Villa Lombardis is further so it doesn't make sense. Does anyone know of any pretty places to take pics close to there? My church is in babylon so I was thinking around there possibly.

We're scheduled to take our photos there from 3:30 - 5 and are going straight to the RH after that...about 20 min away. We're continuing the pictures at the RH since our ceremony starts at 7:30.

I was thinking of just taking my engagement pics there but not sure yet. Depends on pricing. I know that the ceremony usually only lasts about 25 minutes so its up to you if you want to spend that money or not. I'm sure you can ask NRC to see there outside ceremony site. You can always add flowers and stuff to make it beautiful if you want to!!

there is no indoor option for Old Westbury Gardens. You can have your ceremony there, but its expensive.

if your just taking pics, i think its either $250 or 300 for the permit.

you have to give yourself at least 2 hours to take pics to get a full range of shots in all of their different areas - especially of just you two and then the BP

Re: Old Westbury Gardens

NRC does have an outdoor option for ceremonies. It's not super fancy like Giorgio's, but it has a gazeebo. And Pedestals is the florist who decorates for the ceremony, indoors or outdoors, if that helps.
