Old Westbury Gardens (correction)

I posted this before, but I had it wrong- sorry girls.

Has anyone had pictures done there? I have never been there, but have heard nice things. I know they charge $160/hour and you have to have an appt. the day of your wedding. I want to go and check it out to see if its worth it for my pics.

We went there to take pictures. I think the total cost was more like $300. It was so worth it though - the place is gorgeous!!!!
Go to the website and you can read details about wedding photography.

One tip - if you decide to take pictures there, call and schedule an appointment for your wedding day well in advance.

we are taking pictures there. It is costing more like $300. it all depends on what time your appointment is. The web site has all the info. When you print the reservation form it has all the pricing info.

I did and for my time frame, it would be $435 PLUS I'd have to pay for extra people (I have more than 20)...I think it might be too much My parents said they would pay for it but I feel bad since its not like I *have* to have it there, ya know? Hmmmm

My fiance's parents are also paying for this part, but I didn't want to ask them to pay for more than the photog./video if it wasn't necessary. We also have one of the most expensive time slots. So, my FH and I went there to see if we thought it was worth it...it was. The place is beautiful. As we were walking around I could just picture the shots I wanted to get. We went home and sent in the money. I decided I'd pay for it. If you love it, and don't want to ask your parents for more, maybe if you can swing it, it can be something you pick up.
Go and check it out. Also, if you call ahead of time, they won't charge you the fee to enter. The girl who handles the bookings (forget her name-it's on their website) will call the booth and let them know you are coming to check out the place for your wedding.

we took pics there and it was completely worth it since it ended up raining and we were able to take pictures indoors. I didn't really like the rooms indoors at first but our photographer took some great pics in there. I would say its definitly worth it
