I have a flower girl who is 9 years old I dont know if she should carry a small bouquet or a basket.
She and my sister who is a Jr Bm are wearing the same dress but my sis is carrying a small bouquet... Should they both carry bouquets or should the little girl carry a basket..is she too old for one? I kinda want my sis to carry a similar version of my bouquet to make her stand out but if they have the same it wont be as special in my eyes Ideas?

We had an 8 y/o witha basket for my sis's wedding, it looked fine.

My 8 y/o Jr BM will have a bouquet similar to the BM, but half the size. Maybe you can give your FG a bouquet like the Jr BM, but smaller.

My godchild, Emily is going to be my junior bridesmaid. Since she will be ten years old, she does NOT want to be called a flower girl. I still want her to carry a basket with flower petals.

A good friend used 'flower balls' -- I know there is a real name for them, I just cannot remember it right now! They were very cute.

I have the opposite problem...my cousin will be 10 and I think she should be a JR BM...but she WANTS to be a flowergirl! Its probably because her younger brother is the RB but I am a little afraid she may look too awkward with a basket...she's tall already and shes 3 months away from her 9th birthday! I am definitely going to check with the florist on one of those flowerball things (posy ball maybe). Good luck!

My flower girl will be 9 yrs old too, and I am not sure what she will carry. I think a ball, because the other flower girl will be three, so I can't have anything too big. I can't throw flowers at my church, so a basket is a waste to me.
