Its fustrating trying to find a makeup look for me. I have a ton of celebrity photos saved ( eva longoria, jlo etc) but i want to see real brides with a similair skin tone as me. And when i look on makeup artists websites I mainly see brides with fair skin...
anyone feel this way? anyone have pics??

I feel the same way. I'm African American and not sure what I'm going to do for make-up. I'm sure there are plenty of make-up artist who can do make-up for all skin types, but you rarely see pics of such.

I feel the same way. I'm African American and not sure what I'm going to do for make-up. I'm sure there are plenty of make-up artist who can do make-up for all skin types, but you rarely see pics of such.
Funny I am in the same boat. I can look at pics all day of celebs but I need to see real people pics and artists that are available to me. I have a makeup trial sunday with a good morning america makeup artist. I can show you how it went.

Here are some from my trial with Karen Abitol (LIW Vendor)..she has worked with so many skin types/shades..I highly recommend her..
i knew there that to be other brides out there that felt the same way! It is terrible!

i feel the same way!! it's SO hard to find a make up artist who can match my skin tone the best trial i had so far was with a bobbi brown makeup artist. she actually found a foundation that was natural looking for me sorry i don't have a pic th ough!

Check out my trial pics and my e-pics in my album. I too am olive skinned but keep in mind the more experienced make-up artists are skilled in all types of skin colors and textures. You'll find someone you're happy with.
My trial pics are done my Louisa Agate and was done by airbrushing.
My e-pics are done by my cousin Christina who is a make up artist at Bare Escentials which is all powder make-up applied by brushes.
