Omega-3/Fish Oil Pills

My doctor recommended that I take them but I am concerned about an after taste. Does anyone take them? What brands would you recommend?

I bought some from one of the big vitamin manufacturers, I cna't remember the name, maybe Schiff?

Anyway, I keep forgetting to take them, but they had no aftertaste. They're a softgel.

I tried them once - I think they were VitaminWorld brand. And this is kind of gross, but they made me burp, and when I did, my burps tasted like salmon!!!
So needless to say, I stopped taking them!

I take 'Total EFAs' Which have a bunch of different essential oils in them (omega 3, 6, and 9) from fish & flax seed oils. There's only an aftertaste if I take them without food, and it's not at ALL fishy, it tastes more like flax seed (which is no picnic either). They're softgels also. I like how they help me to feel less full if I eat a big meal.... plus they make my skin feel softer too. I definitely recommend this brand, I have taken others which were far less palatable... the ones that are just fish oil alone are icky!!! Go for this kind..
