My feet are so swollen. They look like Fred Flinstones feet! Is that normal during the third trimester?

Re: OMG!
In my last pregnancy, my feet were SO SO SO swollen. This time, not nearly as bad. But yes it was mostly in the 3rd trimester.
It'll go down after baby

Re: OMG!
Sue this is very common in the last trimester.
THAT SAID - and please take this with a grain of salt. I would call your doctor and just let them know about it. I had a condition called pre-eclampsia that turned into a severe condition that I had to be induced because of. This is SO NOT what you have, but I get really touchy about swelling as it's one of the big symptoms of this condition.
Keep in mind, I was swollen starting in maybe the 7th month, and I was swollen up to my knees. I went from a size 5 1/2 shoe to a NINE. So again, it wasnt' the average swelling. I just think that any 'new' symptom should be told to your doctors. That combined with high blood pressure, or protein in the urine could alert them to other conditions....
Again, it's totally normal and I am sure you're fine. I just wish I had been a little more adamant with my doctors about the swelling.

Re: OMG!
ABSOLUTELY COMMON!!!!! My feet were HUGE!!!!!!!! Keep them elivated as much as possible. I worked in an office & I just put a box or a upsidedown garbage pail underneath my desk. Not to mention I only wore my shoes when I had to walk around.

Yep, me too. Had feet that looked like blocks! Went away about a month after I delivered but my feet are still half a size bigger than they were!

I agree with Jenny it is normal but call your doc. When my feet were swollen in my 3 tremester in ended up to be gosh...I think it was called (toxcema S?) I had to stay in bed for two weeks. Better to be safe it is most likely normal....but call doc!!!

Re: OMG!
I have a dr appt next week so I will tell them when I go. My feet and my ankles are swollen. I hope my feet don't get bigger. They are big enough to begin with.

Re: OMG!
I am down to 2 pairs of shoes, 1 pair of sneaks and one pair of sketchers black lace ups. If it doesn't have laces, I can't wear it. I am only 22 weeks! My feet look like clubs at the end of the day!
