OMG!

I was just a witness to a terrible car accident on the LIE... It was so scary! A Jeep Liberty in the middle land went to pass into the fast lane, but a car was there so the driver quickly tried to swerve back into their own lane, but totally lost control of it. The Jeep totally spun out and ended up flipping! This all happended in front of my eyes... I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was only the car just behind the car it had swerved away from. I pulled to the side and called 911. The cops came right away. The lady in the Jeep that flipped over lucky was able to climb out and walk away from the accident. Gosh, it just made me count my blessings.

DH has made me see that rushing is no way to drive...rather get there 10 minutes late and alive than not at all!!

Driving scares me sometimes....

OMG! That is SO SCARY! Things like that remind me that SPEED KILLS and to be a more careful driver....

THey still like to flip easily.

Rushing is dangerous. I mean it's the LIE for christs sake. Get over it. It's traffic.

If the woman had been paying more attention to wear she was going and checking to see that her lane was clear before just trying to hop over she would have had a better chance.

GRR those drivers annoy me. Think they are King of the Road but act like dumbasses. She could have caused a major accident with other cars and injuried people.

Glad you were ok. Pretty scary seeing stuff like that, I know. I saw a Mustang squished between a concrete wall and a semi truck because the idiot guy thought he could speed by it on a sharp curve. He survived but I was behind him and it made me have to think VERY fast to avoid hitting either of them, plus think of the cars still behind me!

I saw some crazy stuff this weekend. We were stuck in traffic due to an acident & were goignto get off at the next exit but ti was blocked off & then we saw a car on the hill on the side of the bronx river parway.( the exit ramp goes up hill, so this was just past the exit. ) we're not sure if the car went up or came down the hill.

And there were officials taking pictures right after & the next day.

And FH said in another situation he saw a tire mark on a yeild sign!
How do these things happen?

And people wonder why I am too scared to drive.
