OK gals... 2 months to go and I have not made a hair or makeup appointment.
Most of you know my deal -- wedding in italy, reception at Harrison House. So, I need hair-makeup for the reception.
Hair I might do at a local salon near my home, we know a girl there who does fantastic up-do's. Makeup, i am at a loss.
With all the other stuff to do, i freakin' forgot about this. LOL
Help!!!

There is also Maureen Pedala, who is pricey, but fantastic!! She does trials in her studio in the city and will come to you the day of. The trial is free! Unheard of in the city! She is fantastic to work with. www.nyweddingmakeup.com

i'm in the same boat as you. no hair or makeup yet - was thinking i could handle the makeup myself, but now am having second thoughts...

check out the bridal gal and bridalgal.com. her name is lillian and i just had a trial with her. she does a great job. and i'm very picky.

I know this isn't typical around here but why not do your own makeup if you are good at it?
I gave up on makeup artisits. They made me look freaky. I am very particular about my makeup anyway. I was going to invest the money in makeup and makeup lessons but never had time for the lessons.
I used Bare Minerals makeup on my wedding day and it stayed on until the next morning (the one night I didn't wash my face).
