OMG!

OMG!

I really truly think my family is throwing me a surprise engagement party this weekend! I had an idea they might be planning one cause my brother let something slip, but I just peeked at my registry and A TON of stuff is off it now! Plus my aunt is visiting this weekend - coincidence!?!

OK - I'm not really certain but I am so excited at the possibility! I'm trying not to get too excited that I will be let down if it doesn't happen. But I know to make sure I dress somewhat nice this weekend - just in case

haha - it is actually my older brother. he was telling how my sister had told my cousin to bring her new BF to my engagement party (but then he quickly changed it to wedding) and I could have sworn I saw my mom give him a 'look'

even if it isn't true - at least the possibility will help me get through the rest of the week!

I'm almost 100% certain now it will be this weekend - Saturday.
I actually feel bad that I figured it out, but my family is SO bad at keeping secrets. My uncle last night asked if my other aunt/uncle are coming for the weekend too (they NEVER visit cause they all hate the drive through the city to NY) - and my aunt shot him a look I pretended not to notice. Plus my grandfather is also 'coincidentally' down for a visit.

I'm so excited! And when I first said me and FH might have an engagement party, my mom was like 'those are so dumb, you shouldn't have one - that is only done on LI' (so I was all sad - but now I know why!)
