OMG

Now he tells me... he was carded at 7-eleven to buy EXCEDRINE! (NEVER HEARD OF THiS B4).. he said.. 'what the f*ck is going on with this world... what if I was 17 and had a headache? I would have to stand outside and ask people to buy me excedrine?'

I know.. I mean the worst I ever got was carded for an R rated movie. No one ever believes I am 28~ Both FH and I looks kinda young (which I TOTALLY dont mind) BUT COME ON....EXCEDRINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was like are you serious??? the guy apparantly said there's something in there... I have NEVER EVER heard of this. what could be in excedrine and what could you possibly do with it????

FH was carded for benadryl I think, maybe it was Sudafed, at my local pharmacy, and he's pushing 30. Anything that's behind the counter now they're supposed to. Because the kids are doing ridiculous things with them to get high.

According to another website, these are the ingredients.

Each gel tap capsule contains 250 mg of Acetaminophen (Tylenol), 250 mg of Aspirin, and 65 mg of Caffeine. I thought that it was interesting in the product information to know that Caffeine is actually a pain reliever aid. The amount of Caffeine that is in the capsule was equivalent to a cup of coffee.

Active Ingredients in Extra Strength Excedrin are 250mg of Acetaminophen, 250mg of Aspirin, and 65mg of Caffeine. Other ingredients include: Benzoic Acid, Camauba Wax, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Mineral Oil, Polysorbate 20, Povidone, Propylene Glycol, Simethicone Emulsion, Sorbitan Monolaurate and Stearic Acid

I know about Claratin... and certain other meds... but I NEVER heard about Excedrine! It just sounds silly. I guess teens these days will get high off of ANYTHING!
Anyone ever watch Intervention? Did you see the one with the girl that was inhaling spray duster airosal cans? THAT WAS INSANE! I NEVER saw anything like that either!!!! It really was a sight to see!

I get migraines so i buy excedrine all the time. I knew caffeine was in there..... and sometimes coffee or caffeine in any form can help with a headache.... but i'm thinking the Acetaminophen is what they can use for something else?

I never really understood how the huffing thing works either... I saw the girl on that show I mentioned...but people huff things like whip cream cans.. I don't get it.

Although... I do have a funny story to share.... I was upstate in FH family vaca house... and I was planning a surprise bday party for my MOH while she was upstairs sleeping. We rented a helium tank... and one of my BM and I were in one bedroom downstairs blowing up like 1000 balloons... only we starts inhaling the helium to make funny voices. Well, I must have inhailed wayyy too many because all of a sudden everything got really slow... and I started to fall onto the bed.. and I remember thinking to myself... OMG this is the end... I'm going to die now.. I did something wrong... so this is what death feels like... If I make it out alive i'll never do this again to myself.... i can't believe this is the end. Then i hit the bed... and kinda snapped out of it. ha ha ha! I think I inhaled too much of it and it effected my brain. I didn't inhale anymore helium after that! ha ha ha... I find it funny now. But it was scary in the moment... the second I realized I was still here... I was like whew and then I laughed (those who know me... know that I can find humor in ALMOST any situation!).

I got carded at Walmart for buying a can of spray paint.

It's because these insane kids are doing all sorts of weird things to get high that they think are 'safe' yet way more dangerous.

I know that people are only alloted a certain daily allowance for pseudophedrine hydrochoride (Sudafed) because people can make METH from that, so they make you show your license.

And I'm seeing now that you need to be 17 to purchase anything with dextromethorphan in it (like Robitussin DM) since taken in excess, it can cause hallucinations.

But come on, Excedrine?!? The worst thing in Excedrine is caffeine!!! That's too funny!

OMG that was the craziest Intervention I've ever seen! So upsetting!!
