I'm in shock - I really thought chris and catherine would be the final 2..... I felt so bad for him - he definitely did not see it coming and he didn't hide the shock at all! Paula's reaction was even more entertaining - they should have her checked in to rehab for the season finale.

I can believe that Chris was voted off!!! He was robbed
In the beginning of the season, Melissa forgot her lyrics and she was voted off that week. Too bad the same didn't happen with Katherine! She should've been the one to go...
Now that Chris is gone - I'm voting for Taylor.

I cant believe that they sent chris home. It should of been Kat not chris. Id say the show is fix too only because FH came home from work before the show went on and told me there he heard on xm radio that there was a web site and it said who was going home last night and the site said Chris but i said no couldnt be true then when chris got kicked off

think of it this way, when someone wins american Idol, they're locked into that contract and they won't be released for over a year and the contract dictates what type of music they have to record. I think that Chris will still get a recording contract (maybe even a better deal than what the show offers) and we might see his record out sooner. Remember that it's usually the people that don't win this popularity contest that end up with more exposure and we see their stuff sooner. One good example: Clay Aken (sp?).

Katherine looks so uncomfortable on stage and she has been seriously sucking. No doubt the girl has a nice voice but she doesn't have, for lack of a better term, 'star quality'. I love Taylor and would go to a T Hicks concert anyday. Elliot, eh, I don't know anymore and I am basically convinced that something went wrong. Either Chris' fans felt it was so in the bag they didn't have to vote or America went tone deaf. Either way, I am so mad and sad!!!
