This is truth.

My Mom is disgusted. She doesn't even know if she can bring herself to come. At the RD, Steph was asking the priest is we could just move the stuff and sleep on the bed at night and the priest was like well we don't do that, but I assume you can't. EVEN OUR PRIEST DOESN'T DO THAT STUFF!

It's this gross ritual which most Greeks don't even do anymore.
The Thursday before the wedding, the women come over and throw money, jewelry and babies on the couple's bed for 'good fortune' in the bedroom. VOMIT.
THEN, traditionally, the morning after the wedding, the husband is supposed to hang their sheet outside his window to show the blood stain meaning his bride was, in fact, a virgin.

Hmmm, I wonder why FMIL isn't insisting on that last part?
