I personally don't see what the fuss is about. It seems like a pretty creative way to solve a very real problem. If I were in her(his) shoes then I'd consider doing something similar (although ebay is not the place I'd go to advertise - its not the best place to attract the media buyers she needs). And I'd think it would be cool to have a beer company sponsor my wedding. A wedding is after all just one expensive party - and not a terribly original, one of a kind event regardless of the frills and bows. At least this makes things a bit more interesting.

It's not really that unheard of, about 6 months ago there were a bunch of people on the news and in magazines talking about this new tread, were people get sponsers for their weddings, they 'sell' advertising space at their weddings for a fee, which they use to pay for the wedding..
