just got a call that the designer wasn't happy with the beeding and the dress is delayed until Aug 15. My wedding is Sept 12 I'm getting very nervous!!!

Patrice.... keep calm honey... I'm going thru the same thing with my mom - she was a total procrastinator, and her dress isn't due til the first week of September. YOu have time if it's coming in during the middle of August.... You WILL be fine!!!!!!!!!

OMG that ****s! But at least the designer didn't send it off with the beading looking cruddy!! What if you had to send it back? EEK! But talk to them and say that because of the late delivery you want free alterations. If they value you as a customer they'll do it (always helps to tell them about his website and how we let others know what salons are good and not good...lol)

I think they already threw in the alterations for free, but maybe I can hit them up for a money bag or the shipping for free. I'm having it shipped to PA to save on taxes. Thanks ladies for the suggestions, but I'll still be feaking out until I know the dress in in.

You have plenty of time to get the alterations done and the perfect reason to demand times that are convenient to you since the dress is coming in later then expected. In all honesty, I don't think they owe you money back as long as the dress is in and altered before the wedding date you gave them.
I also think its awsome the designer of the gown personally goes over the gown to insure the quality!!

Don't worry! Thats fine! By doing your alterations closer to your wedding date your gown will fit you that much better!

Don't worry about it. You'll have your gown. You got it at Kleinfeld right? They need one week to do alterations, you'll be fine!!

My wedding is the same day and my dress is not suppose to be in until 2nd week of August. I ordered my gown in JANUARY. I was beyond annoyed but there is nothing we can do...We'll be okay!!!!!!!!!
