OMG GOT MY DRESS!!!!!!!!

YAYY! I said yes to the dress!!!!! Took the trip to CT to try on the dress I have been obsessing over for months! Even from before FH and I were engaged! Well I finally got to try it on and I loved it!!!

Just a reminder..this dress was discontinued so I either had the option of buying the sample OR ordering it new with a 10-30% fee tacked onto the original price of the gown (fee is because it's discontinued....I previously called numerous stores and stores had different percentages that would be tacked on ranging from 10-30%). The sample was really beat up so I knew I had to order the dress new.

WELLL...the CT store is AMAZING and told me that if I bought the dress today they would give me the dress for the price it normally went for WITHOUT the discontinued fee on top!! I was soo happy about this!!! I don't have to get the alterations done through them...so I may decide to just pick up the gown in CT and get it altered in NY for convenience. Decisions decisions! Don't have to worry about this for a while though..haha.

Okay I'll stop rambling...it's just that I'm so excited! When the dress comes in I will DEF take tons of pics!

good job! i recommend getting alterations closer to where you live. i live in CT, am getting married on LI (where I am from), have been doing my alterations on LI and it is a real pain. i wish i did alterations closer to where i live

Yeah, this is what I told my mom. I told my mom that I would probably want to get my alterations in NY but she said that I should get them done in CT. I think I will get them done in NY though because it's probably going to be so busy right before the wedding and I doubt I will want to travel to CT for multiple fittings.
