I went to Pre Cana today at the Immaculate Conception center in Douglastion and not even realizing who he was I sat down next to MIKE PIAZZA from the NY mets!!!!!!!! He just got engaged a few weeks ago and he and his fiance were sitting next to us for the pre cana!!! He was sooo nice and down to earth.... she was another story .. Im a Yankee fan and didnt recognize him at all.
I just thought I would share b/c I thought it was pretty cool

Thats so funny- The best is that you didn't recognize him.
I was standing like a foot from him in Las Vegas on that monorail that you have to take from the plane, I kep staring @ him thinking I knew him from my friend Tina and the clubs we used to go to out on LI.
THank god I was busy talking to the people I was with b/c I would have made a big a$$ out of myself saying somthing like- oh your Tinas friend. These guys that were on my flight but in another car of the monorail came up to me & asked me if I saw Mike Piazza and thats when it clicked. I was soooo happy for once I kept my big mouth shut and didn't approach him. He really is a good looking guy

I am in love LOVE with Mike Piazza. I always tease Mike about it. I think I would have . I read the article about him having a house in Boynton Beach and that is where Mikes sister just moved too. He has been Bugging me to move there I just turned to him and said 'ok we can move to boynton Beach now Mike Piazza has a house there'
And BTW about that ring. how is a ring 98,000-500,000 isnt that like a HUGE DIFFERENCE.

OK, first of all - how cool! I just my fi and he almost flipped...he's a HUGE Mets fan (I ♥ the Yankees!) and we're going to Immaculate Conception too...except we're going 2-5-05. How exciting!

OMG! OMG! i read this and my mouth fell open. I AM the BIGGEST mets fan (not afraid to admit it). What in the world is he doing in Douglaston of all places???

Piazza has a HUGE mansion in the Whitestone area of Queens. It was in the news last summer that he was building it... (That's why he probably did Pre-cana in Queens)
I've past his house a few times -- it's TO DIE FOR.
I'm a Piazza fan. I do hope this girl he's marrying is nice.
And in Mike's defense--when DH and I went to pre-cana in Douglaston, there was a couple there getting married the following weekend. They let them in very last minute. And they weren't famous.

That is soo cool! my friend who i work with is actually his first cousin, but he really never got to meet him because he was adopted but he still talks with his birth mom and she told him this he last name is actually piazzia too. but He might be invited to the wedding anyway because its his cousin and his mom will be going.
