OMG!! I had to call 911....

So, I'm driving home from work, and I notice in my rear view and this pickup is UP MY AZZ bigtime. Now, I'm a NY driver, still, but, this is ridiculous, I thought he was going to hit me. I gave it a minute, and then he started weaving in and out of the lane. He then stopped his truck for a good 30 seconds and blocked all traffic, and then again, riding up my azz. I called 911, and the dispatcher said it was state police territory where I was, and she transfered me to them, and I told them the story, they said they were sending a car, I gave him my info, and he was still on the road I told the police I was on when I turned off.

He was driving so crazy, I was scared, and things like that generally don't bother me.

i am really glad you are ok!!

i once had to call 911 on an obviously drunk limo driver. it was a few months ago, i posted about it on here the next day. the dispatcher told me i was not the first person who called about him.

i bet after you called, they received other calls about that guy too.

you did the right thing. you shouldn't have to be on the road with aholes like that, especially with all of the scary stuff that's on the news lately about fatal accidents.

lets just hope he didn't hurt anybody before the cops got to him.

I agree. And, I hope someone else did call about him. I was driving on a 2 lane road, one southbound and the other north... god forbid he swirved into the lane and didn't see a car coming for whatever reason.... we were doing 50ish, he could have killed someone.

once i was driving on the belt pky and i saw this guy going reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally slow & swirving in and out of his lane almost hitting cars!!! i was so scared to pass him so i called 911 & reported him... so finally i got up the balls to pass him and it turned out to be this really old guy who could barely see over the wheel lol i felt really bad

OMG!!!! That is crazy. I hope they got him. I am glad you are ok and you did the right thing by calling 911. I can't believe people are like that. And like you said you are from NY. We already drive faster than most but that is just insane.

I might get crap for saying this, but, it's how I feel.

After a certain age, you should be required to take a YEARLY driving exam. There are too many older people on the road that just don't belong there.

I completely agree!!

And I am so glad that you are ok!! There are some people on the roads that really should not be there.
