HOLY SHYT I was just complaining about FBIL, like I usually am and FH forwards me an email...
FBIL wants to bring his miserable new wife to come visit us. I guess when you don't want to go on a HM together the next best thing is torturing your brother and his fiance in NY???? I'm going to vomit. I gave him several reasons none of the weekends he wants to come actually work...

And she hates dogs!! What the EFFFFFF do they think I'm going to do with Darwin while they're here?????

Oh yes, she likes FBILs money, she likes the ring he bought her... but not enought to actually move in with him into the million dollar house he just bought her. They've been married for 3 weeks and she hasn't moved all of her stuff in and still sleeps at her co-op most nights. LOVE IT.

Just tell them you are super busy with the wedding close and other obligations, and maybe after the wedding would be a better time.
Then after the wedding say you are just settling in from the wedding and maybe in a few weeks. Then it will be holiday time and you would probably see them anyway right?

It probably is my fault, since my drama just calmed down...I swear our FILs share a drama force and there's only enough crazy for one set to act up at a time.
You could always do what we did when FMIL tried to come for FSD's birthday and refused to take a hint...we just flat out told her it wasn't a good time and we'd let her know when was.

He also doesn't pay for his own dinner when we have gone out together in the past... and once we were at a wedding, he didn't bring a gift and when FH handed the groom the card, FBIL chimed in 'oh that's from me too'
