My mom just called me because she bought my veils and i know you all know about the tri county flee market but i just wanted to share this deal! I picked out the veils i wanted where i got my gown and they told me for a cathedral and fingertip veil with scattered crystals and a blusher $600 with my 'discount' for getting my gown there. At the flee market the guy is custom designing the blusher (custom cut to a specific length and crystals at the bottom) and the other two veils .... $170!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy its just what i wanted and such a great deal i thought you girls would like to know!

I got my veils there also for 1/3 of the bridal shops price! And I love how everything is custom made for you!

i agree! i wanted something very simple (drop veil w/ blusher, just a ribbon rolled edge) and the bridal shop said it would be $300 -- he charged 65 w/ no tax, and made it perfectly to my measurements and to match my dress.

I totally understand where your coming from because I just ordered my veil and hairpins for me and all my BMs and MOH. I initially fell in love with a fingertip length mantilla type veil with beading and lace, it was beautiful but it was also almost $400. I had such a problem spending so much on something that I would be wearing for such a short time. Well we drove all the way to tri county (I'm from Brooklyn) and found the perfect veil for my dress (mantilla style just didn't match) and 40 hair pins for me and bridal party all for $300.00 You just can't go wrong

yep-ordered mine yesterday for the veil, 5 large hair pins and 7 small pins total came to $140 and he threw in a free garter
now I can't wait until JUly 11th to pick up my viel!
I know im so excited i cant wait to get it..i think he said it would be ready july 4th ??

tri county is awesome.
there's a booth on the ground floor toward the back that sells all sorts of adorable sundresses, beach coverups, etc....nothing is more than $12! perfect honeymoon clothes. (it's across from the pickle booth, near the escalator)
