omg i m so sad right now, update more info at bottom

i feel so bad, a close friend of mine called me last nite and i missed the call..i called him back and no1 answered..now i just heard that his dad died last nite.. i feel horrible that i missed the call and now no1 is answering the phone

I would keep trying to reach and send some flowers or fruit over to the house for the meantime.

Oh no..how terrible for your friend. It's not your fault you missed the call last night..you couldn't have known what was going on. Now that you know, just be there for your friend - he's going to need a lot of support. Your support over time will be so much more important than you being there for the initial phone call.

Oh, that is sad...call again and leave another message. I know you may feel like you don't want to bother them...but, they will know that you care. Or, call another mutual friend (if there is one) and try to find out about services...maybe you can go to pay your respects.

I'm sorry to hear it, Michi .. I would also leave a message or if you have a mutual friend, try to get some info on services, etc. I would be upset at myself about the call also, but realistically speaking, don't be hard on yourself .. its not your fault

thanks every1 for all ur thoughts and prayers and for making me feel better!!!

im doing my best right now to get some more info so i can pay my respects, unfortunatly his house phone is disconnected and he is not answering his cell (for obvious reasons) so I guess I can just kinda sit here and hope he calls me tonite, unfortunatly of all days i left my cell phone at home :(... i feeel so bad, i dont know if many of know this but my dad passed away when i was 17 so i can really relate to what hes going threw and i just want him to know that..its weird to b/c this friend of mine and i had just started to get closer and now i feel like i m very helpless and i hate to b a bit*h but my co-workers know him too and no1 seems to really care, sometimes i cant stand pple..

Aww, so sorry. Just leave him a message on his cell with another number he can reach you at (other than your cell). At least when he checks his messages he will know that you are thinking of him at his time of need.
