OMG I need to get a tooth extracted..NOW

I have a lot of pain and infection in my wisdom tooth (trying to come in by no room), and I was supposed to get my whitening today but I ended up having to see the dentist for the pain instead.

it turns out I have to get the tooth extracted next week. That's just 3 weeks before the wedding!!!! Am I going to be a swollen mess?

Has anyone had this before? Please tell me what it's like.

I had four pulled at once on a Monday and by the weekend I was absolutely fine...esp after the stiches came out, I was even better!

I had all 4 taken out earlier this year, was back at work the next day ..

Just make sure you take ALL the antibiotics they give you - I screwed up there and ended up with an abscess about 3 weeks later.
