telling people 'maybe you'll be invited to the wedding' I'm going to lose it!!!!
EVERY TIME we run into someone he knows (which is a lot because his father owns a bar in Queens so he knows a lot of people from the bar) he mentions something to them! He always says 'well I didn't say that they were definitely invited' but why even mention it?! Then they're going to half expect an invitation. We already have about 220 people with both of our families and close friends. I love that he's friendly but he needs to knock it off before I knock him out! lol
While we're on the subject, do you girls get the 'I better be at the wedding!' comment? I get that A LOT and it makes me want to punch people in the face! lol How rude are you!?!!
Can you tell I'm stressed today? lol

Ugh!! I know how you feel!! Except FH invited everyone to be in the WEDDING PARTY! We agreed on 5, he now has 8. I told him if he invites anyone else into it, I'll have to be the b*tch and tell them we have no room.

Yes, I get I better be at wedding, we have had friends of friends assume they are invited, we have had people tell us they are bringing their kids even though its a NO kid wedding and we have had people telling us they are bringing dates even though they are not being invited with a +1. People are going to be up for a rude awakening when invites go out.

YES! I got that comment from a girl I grew up with who now lives in Fl. Granted, if they still lived here her whole entire fam would be invited and her and her twin bro. would probably be in my wedding party since we spent all the major holidays with their fam. BUT they up'd and left w/o saying g'bye to anyone so that was that.
I might send them an invite out of courtesy but am 99% sure they won't come. Maybe just her bro will come up since he came up for another wedding last year and stopped to say hello to my mom and I.

my parents have decided to add some more distant family. i am a little annoyed over it, but since they are paying for the RH i really can't complain too much.
as for FH, he wants to not invite someone who already received a STD. the guy is one of FHs acquaintances, (i say acquaintance because FH never considered him a friend) he just somehow got added to the list. currently FH & the rest of his friends, are trying to cut this guy outta the loop & they all want to use this is a scissor.
to be honest i really don't care, i never liked the guy.

I've gotten the 'I better be invited' from one girl on more than one occasion...she is someone who I used to hang with casually in HS and we've hung out on/off since then but only when I was hanging out with other people...never alone. I don't have her cell #, she doesn't have mine,we don't talk when we don't see each other in a social situation....NO, YOU ARE NOT INVITED.

I know exactly how you feel. FH started that junk when we first got engaged and I turned around to him and was like NO way!! and I hate those i better be invited comments. they are so annoying!!!

My FH does that too. We were at a funeral for a friend's father back in January (or February). The friend's mother was asking when the wedding is, and FH said 'Oh don't worry, you'll get an invitation!'
I was like 'ummmmm what????' So of course we have to add her to the list, which ok, one more, not a huge deal. But I stopped him there and said he's not allowed to do that anymore! It's not a backyard bbq...you can't just tell people they're invited and then not do it. They'll actually expect an invitation now!!!!

I haven't gotten the 'i better be invited comment' yet but i would be pisssed too! FH knows better not to say anything...he knows our guest list is very limited since we really only want 150 at the wedding.

I'VE GOT A STORY!
I was out having a nice dinner with FH and 2 of my moms cousins. We're doing some light wedding talk but I'm trying not to get too deep into the conversation because we're unable to invite ALL of my the cousins on my moms side and I don't want that information to slip too early.... WELL!! FH goes, 'Hey D, were we inviting them to the wedding?' out loud, as he points to them!! I give him a look that says STOOOOOP and he continues, 'Well I know we weren't inviting all your moms cousins, and I wasn't sure if they made the cut or not.'
So now I have my 2 cousins looking at me like What do you mean you're not inviting all of us?! And I'm left stammering trying to smooth out the situation....
After this and the debate over if all single guests should have a +1 or only a select few I've decided he should have nothing to do with the invite list!

yes Fh all of sudden has been bumping in to all this old friends of his and he know whants to invite them-NOT HAPPENING we have a few people say we better be coming to the wedding well u better give us a nice gift
