OMG its like Christmas!!!

I came home tonight and FH and I were just cooking some dinner and the UPS guy comes with 4 packages. 2 from BBB and 2 from Fortunoff. We got some gifts off our registry

I just have a quick question, i am not sure what the correct way to go about this? Can i open the gifts to see what they are now.

Fh says we shouldn't open it and we should bring it to the shower but I don't think I have ever heard of anyone bringing gifts to there own shower and then opening gifts in front of everyone for people who aren't there.

I haven't had my shower yet so I didn't know if it was ok to open the gifts. We are not going to be using them at all but I just want to see what we got.

I would open them!!!!!!!!!!! and at your shower you can thank whoever sent them to you if they are at your shower if not, a thank you card will do.....

I got gifts shipped before my engagement party and we opened them when they came, but they were from people who weren't coming to the party. They should be wrapped inside the boxes, so you can see who they are from.

Why dont you just go online..log onto ur account and see what has been purchased..thats what I would do.

when my fsil was getting married she got lots of gifts sent to the house from people who couldn't make it-her shower was a surprise too!! she just sent out thank yous all together.

Congratulations!!! I say open them, why wait to bring them to your shower. If it were me, I wouldn't be able to wait until my shower.

i'd open them! if the sender wanted them opened at the shower for everyone to see they would have sent the gifts to your mom's house or to the host of the shower. go ahead, enjoy!

We open ours as they come to the house....I would definitely open them so you can get your thanks yous out too....

definitely open them! sometimes people who can't attend your shower will send a gift ahead of time!
