I just took a HPT and I'M NOT SURE of the results

OK I took the Clearblue Easy. The problem is I just went off the pill a few months ago so I'm not positive what my cycle is. The first month it was 28 days, the second it was 35 days and this is the third month. We haven't been BDing during ovulation b/c I haven't been sure when that is.

Anyway........My boobs have been killing me and I have a funny taste in my mouth so I said what the he!!, take the test (had an extra one in the house). AF would have been due the 23 (28 day cycle) or the 30th.

SOOOOOO.......the oval window (saying + or -) has a dark VERTICAL line and a very light HORIZONTAL line, I mean VERY light horizontal line. So, I was like -OK, it says negative. WELL, a few minutes later I look at the box and the box says NEGATIVE would be a HORIZONTAL line.

I think this may be positive
but I'm not sure

Anyone that took this test PLEASE HELP

UPDATE::::::

WELL............... I took another test and it said POSITIVE not a + an actual PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!

I am totally freaking out right now. I'm soooooo nervous!!!

I just went out and bought a baby outfit that says I love mommy and daddy (wanted just daddy but there were none in neutral colors) I wrapped it along with the test saying pregnant. I'm so nervous for DH to come home

I also want to share it with my sister but she's away. Don't know if I should tell her over IM (phone calls are $3 a minute) or wait until she comes home Sunday. I don't think we'll tell anyone else for a couple of weeks....have to think of a good way

I'm so excited and nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much everyone!!!!!! We are so excited, nervous but excited.

His reaction was funny. I wrapped the outfit in Christmas paper and told him when I was washing the floor I found it behind the tree. I had forgotten to give it to him.

He saw the box and said - oh, no fun, it's clothes. I just kept laughing.

Well, he opened it and looked SO CONFUSED. He didn't read 'I love mommy and daddy' on the outfit, he just stared at it. He actually thought it was mistake b/c my brothers wife is expecting and he thought I gave him their gift.

Well, I then pulled out the HPT but was so disappointed to see that the PREGNANT was gone (didn't realize on digitals it only stays for an hour). I was laughing and crying at this time and he just kept saying - are you kidding- are you kidding-.......(I took the other digital test that was in the pack to show him the pregnant word because it's so shocking when you see it, it makes it real)

It still really hasn't hit him yet b/c it happened quicker than we thought. It was only 2 months of barely trying.
We are still in shock (but happily )

I took it. The negative line is horizontal.

You should call though and then get me the answer too!!!

I had the same this month! Due on the 30th!

I forgot to write yesterday that I had called the company about the line. With the clearblue easy (not digital) if you see a VERTICAL line at all, that is the line that detects the pregnancy hormone so it is definately positive!!

Personally I found the digital better because it SAID pregnant...no mistaking it

P.S. I know what you mean about the digital...when I saw 'pregnant' I felt like it was as good as a doctor's confirmation!
