Ok so I chose to make my own invites from scratch. I had allot of printing issues though. Bc I was making the invites to look like a concert ticket I made it in excel. Then I cut and pasted a clip art design from the internet. Well everything looked good and was going fine....all of a sudden a line starts printing across the top of the invitations! Then dashed lines, then only a linenon half the invites I was like ***!! We changed the ink and everything no idea why it happened but we finally got them all printed! BUT bc I was trying everything to fix the line issues I forgot to change the rsvp date!!!! I'm mailing my invitations Dec 1st the final head count is due to my venue by feb 28th for our March 13th wedding. I have the rsvp date set for jan 16th. My originally thought was I have like 30 people on a b list and after I get all my no's I could re print a few with the new rsvp.date of feb13th. But then I thought about it and I thought I should give the first batch of invites more time. But I forgot to change it and now they only have a month and a half and its 2 months before the wedding.......is this really no big deal? My mom tried to make me feel.better but I'm still worried.

Your mom is right, it's not a big deal!! It's a little early, but people will RSVP immediately... Or wait forever (regardless of your date). This will actually benefit you so you can get your b list out early enough.

Deeeeeep breathssss... This is not the end of the world. Worse comes to worse you have to track down a few more people than you might have before. Dont stress over it too much, a lot worse things could happen!

I'm so sorry this happened. As a designer, I've seen this happen many times. People underestimate DIY projects all the time, you still have time to sort this out. If you need professional help and decide to reprint, a print shop could sort this all out for you. Excel isn't a design program and I think that's your main issue. You should be fine on RSVPs, you're going to have to track people down either way, so you'll be on top of it.

Awwwwww sweetie! Everything is going to work out. Think about it this way, you are allowing yourself more time with your B-List and either way you will have to track people down regarding your RSVP's (Either with your a or b list.)

I guess my fear is people need to rsvp in the middle of the holidays now and I will be tracking down more people this way.

The people who are going to RSVP will, and the ones who aren't wont, regardless of what time of year. They'll probably use the holidays as an excuse, but there are just people who don't get it. You're going to be fine! You WILL have to track people down, that's just a fact you'll have to accept, lol. It's no big deal at all!! And I wanna see the finished product!!
