I just got off the phone with my step-mom (my dad was married to her for 25 years) and she tells me that my dad told her that there was not going to be a wedding... I was like huh? Granted my dad pulled out of it COMPLETELY. He is not paying a dime, not giving me away, not attending. Now he is going around telling people there is no wedding... Ok admittedly we had to cut the budget majorly and I had become a DIY Bride but no one ever said there was no wedding.. we have already put down $3000 in deposits of our own money (dad was just going to pay off things). We don't get those deposits back so yes we are going ahead with plans just cheaper versions. Then he told her I quit my job, i didn't QUIT my job!!! I was fired and it was all due to retaliation for me complaining about a RN that was harrassing me. I mean I got my unemployment immediately they had no reason to discharge me, and I am hopefully going back to work a an Independant Provider soon (as soon as my number somes through from the state) and my dad is going around making me sound like a fool now... OMG I am soo mad...

OMG so sorry you have to deal with that - When people are unhappy no matter what the relationship, they just make others miserable too. If you are an RN Mather hospital is hiring and they have a sign on bonus too.
