OMG---- My mom just called John Anthony's and said.....

That my FH & I have broken up. Which isn't true but we are back to hall shopping again now. In my previous post (Chateau La Mer v.s John Anthonys) you can read some of the reasons for my decision. They said if they re-book the date which shouldn't be a prob. then we will get most f the money back. In a way I feel better now but in a way I'm really hopping we find a similar place for the same price. I have the appointment to go and see Chateau La Mer on Tuesday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'll keep everyone posted. I would love any additional suggestions for halls on the water (south shore) for around or less than $100 pp before taxes and all that. I missed your first post, but I hope all is well. I'll look for it after I finish posting this. Have you tried looking into the riviera in massapequa? Its right on the water and its really nice. Also the swan club in roslyn is on the water.

i am so bad with my south shore and north shore... i am directionally useless

i think the harbor club in huntington is on the north shore though... but it is on the water and is in that price range....

i cant believe that they did that. i would never think of going there. try villa lombardies or captin bills. i have heard good things about them

Riviera at Massapequa is also on the south shore and should be less than $100 pp.

They definately have to refund all your money... i remember when i booked our hall our BM said that legally they cant hold our deposit if we cancel before a certain amt of days!
