O BOY- I had to push my date up to July- I have the hall & DJ, I have so much work to do!!!!! I am going for a dress today, I guess I will ahve to get something off the rack, Anyone know of GOOD shop that has a large selection of off the rack, besides Davids Bridal???

I am in a similar situation. I just booked my hall three weeks ago for a July 3 wedding. You can pretty much go anywhere (I went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place) and ask them to rush the dress. I am sure that there are some dresses that take 6 months or more to arrive, but most of the dresses I looked at would have arrived in about three months (paying a rush fee). So you don't necessarily have to buy off the rack.

Maybe try RKBridal...They have a little section of clearance dresses. They may also be able to get a dress for you within 4-6 weeks and I think you would still have time for alterations if necessary.

Look for a trunk show..lots of shops have them including Kleinfeld. i also know a bide who just ordered her dress at kleinfeld for an august wedding, so..you might luck out there
