OMG! Please help me. This color has been DISCONTINUED!
OK, I'm making my own invitations & I was halfway done when I ran out of the lavender ribbon that I was using to make little bows for the top. I have been looking all over (Michael's/AC Moore/Joanne's fabric & crafts/ebay/Fabric Bonanza/Party City)
Everyone keeps saying, 'Oh, yeah, we had that. But it's discontinued' Now what do I do? This ribbon was the only one that actually stayed put for what I was doing. Trust me. I tried out a dozen ribbons before I found the 'right' one! Now, I don't know where else to look.
Does anyone know where I can find Lavender Ribbon with the Satin Center & Sheer Edges- 5/8' from Ribbon Offray?
PLeeeeeeeaaaaaaassssse help me out. I'm stressing out so bad over this.

There are a bunch of ribbon stores near my office. Are you able to get to the city? They are located in the 6th Ave- 37th-39th Street area.

Also (sorry for so many posts) since they are for invitations, you can always go with a similar ribbon instead of the exact same if you have to. Not too many people will see what other people's invites look like, you know? Definitely not something to stress to much over, really.

Thaks, I'm going to search that website right now. It's not that I want them to be exactly the same (I don't care about that). It's just that this particular ribbon lays flatter, holds the bow nicer & had a nicer sheen to it than most of the other ones. Some of the other ones looked like they were 'dented up' everytime I bent it into shape. They would get all crinkled & looked like they needed to be ironed! Yuck! So, I'm gonna check that website. Thanks so much

I went through the SAME exact problem. I bought ribbon grossgrain rust color for our programs at AC Moore and didn't buy enough. Litterally three days later I went back to get more and it was ALL GONE! We searched EVERY store on LI. Thankfully we had an incredible guy at the AC Moore store who came to our rescue. He told me what they do is send it back to the warehouse in NJ when the season is over. He had to call down there to get some sent back.
I SWEAR by JKM Ribbon. They're fantastic. We bought our printed ribbon there. I'm looking right now for you and do not see it. They carry a LOT....check through the site and see if you can find something comperable.

i bougt my ribbon from daisy*mart from eBay and they have lavendar ribbon on there that is either all satin or all organza. and they are super quick in shipping, i had mine within 2 days from the end of the auction.

Are you sure it's lavendar and not Lilac Or Lilac Mist.....

OOhhh, I just found out that the pattern (that satin stripe in the center) is called Garbo! Whoo-Hoo!!! Another step closer! I'm on jkmribbon.com right now!!!
