OH, this is important order a copy of your credit report (you get one for free every year) to make sure that was all it was.

get one asap, call them they'll send it to you for free.
1 Equifax 2TransUnion 3 Experian
make sure you get all three, sometimes they have different information.

How do I request my free credit report?

this happen to me 2 years ago..it was awful..they charged over $500 worth of things on my card. The bank told me that sometimes in restaurants people will write down your card info and then use it online. Any place that takes your card and you cant physically them with it you should be weary of.
I hope you get your $$ back!!

SAME thing happened to me a few weeks ago-- I have BOA too. They are AWESOME with catching identity theft!!
Glad you are getting your money back... it is absolutely disgusting that there are people out there who could do something like that.

OMG, this is awful!!! Always be careful when making purchases online. Just to be safe, make sure it is a secured site by looking for a LOCK in the corner of the address bar.

I had my card in possession, and someone bought something at Target for $1,000.
Another time, someone stole $2,000 from my checking/savings, and I also had the card in my posession.
Especially w/ debit cards, there's easy ways for people to get your number. They can set up a thing on the ATM machine that will get your card numbers and then when you put in your pin they can set up a camera above it so that it captures it also. I always cover my fingers when I type my pin in now.
